Life Style Team member Lynda has been working on keeping the local community in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area up-to-date through the Redcliffe City News (www.redcliffecity.com.au). 

The tragedy that is unfolding in our state will be long lasting and our thoughts go out to all who have lost family and friends, pets and animals, livelihoods, homes, treasured possessions … just don’t lose hope.

The Queensland sense of humour has put a smile on people’s faces despite the adversity and shows the world how resilient we are:

• XXXX is fine!
• New pool for Qld at Suncorp Stadium!
• Next origin game in flippers!

And as a media boat was going road the suburbs people were suggesting that while they were at traffic light level it would be good to turn off the speed cameras!!!
